Hey Ken-san...

Brake fluid does not have a shelf life. If sealed properly, it lasts forever. But because of brake fluid's properties to absorb water, it usually spoils after some time in storage. New sealed containers will last forever. Once opened and exposed to the atmosphere, brake fluid begins to absorb water.
