Hey thanks for the tips atf fluid I will try that and I couldn't agree more with leaving hp on the table since they failed to have matching ports on both sides.

That manifold port is leaving hp on the table. If you are going to match the port to the gasket. Line up your gasket, tape it into place. scribe your line around the gasket, and then remove gasket. Dip your burr bit into ATF fluid before you grind. It will help keep the burr bit from dulling to quick.
