In his blog, he quotes I have to do a $125 inspection before it goes on his dyno, tuning is $550, and for him to touch up my DD tune, it's an extra $200. On top of that, he has a list of things for me to check on my own that I have 0 time for atm. Not only that, I haven't the slightest clue on how to check for boost leaks. I'm hoping you can give me your thoughts rq on what you thought.

SS, I hear you about the cost, but he is worth every dime. Other shops around the Nation and Canada fly him and Greg (his partner) out to do tuning sessions. If you have not already done so, I would call him and talk to him about what you want to achieve. If you have your UpRev cable it's is about $500 for a tune session. He is going to take his time and tune it right. He is very familiar with GTM products. As far as checking for boost leaks, I stumbled across a YouTube video and it is pretty simple. The guy just added some dishwashing soap with water in a spray bottle and sprayed all the connection where you might have a leak. If you get bubbles you have a leak. The deal was to do this on a cool or cold engine start so not to water spot all the shiny parts.
I am confident you will have a good experience with Seb. He is very responsive and is always there to provide you with good advise. I have also recommended Seb to Infamous as well. Here is what I know: Seb did the first tune on my car when it was NA and I had no issues with it and it ran strong. He has since installed my TT and tuned it as well and I have just passed the 3K mile point and I have not had one single issue with the TT or tune. The car seems to be running stronger than ever. Heck, Brian H. that splits time with BJ in the Nissan 14 car went to him to get his personal 300z tuned, so I would say that is not bad company to keep!
Good luck my friend...maybe we can head that way together as I need to get a tune for 100 octane.
