Why should I have to unsubscribe to something I never subscribed to in the first place?
Actually, what I'm glossing over is the part where, even when you scrupulously DON'T check the "I want your spam" box at checkout, they send it to you anyway. Then later, you get the opportunity to "unsubscribe" for a little while. You know very well that they do
not throw your email address away. What
you are glossing over is the ad-tracking that they sell. That targeted stuff that comes up in the right-hand pane on Facebook, etc. That's where that stuff comes from.
