If the reason is preventing the technology to be leaked to the foreigner hand, it is a huge wrong conception.
However, their market and export could be at least 2 to 3 times better and bigger if they don't have this exclusivity thinking/strategy.

this is very true, mr.alcheng. i think the french guy working for nissan is a good thing. it gives nissan a 3rd person view of the company, and can objectively see wat it needs to do to stay competitive with the rest of the world.
with the exchange rate steady around 101-102, i think nissan has a good chance of bringing something big to the table next.
