Actually I hate to touch the top. If I had my way I'd only actually touch it to put 303 on with a paintbrush twice a year. Paranoia strikes deep, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you, and all that.

I've covered it several times with plastic sheeting, then removed it, and the snow that's on it, after the storm is over. It's amazing how quickly the snow will melt off the red car and black top.

In the case of the picture, I scraped it off with my arm the next day, not long after I took the picture. Come to think of it, I didn't much actually touch the top, just kind of cut the snow off and to the side. Pretty much the same as I did the body. So far, so good, fingers crossed. (It's a car, if it outlasts me, I'll actually be disappointed.)
