Nissan 370Z Forum - View Single Post - Are the two front 12V Power Outlets Direct or Switched?

Hi Everyone

I need confirmation if the two front 12V Power Outlets are Direct or Switched (or at least the one below the glove compartment). The reason is that I am about to order a Sony MBR-100 to connect my iPod Touch to the Bose audio system via Bluetooth (I will not get Navi). If these power outlets are connected straight to the battery, then it wont be practical since I will need to be unplugging the Sony unit everytime I get out of my car to avoid draining the battery. If they are switched I think it will work.

I am expecting to get my new Roadster in December/January and I am already ordering all the stuff I want.

If you know of a better way of accomplishing the same thing let me know.
