I have a 2012 roadster with the window contacting the top issue. I bought the car used almost 2 months ago. There is s
TSB on this defect, but it only mentions 2010 and 2011 models, it does not mention 2012 or later. I took the car to the dealership and the service guy is telling me that the warranty repairs have to be made within 12 months of the original purchase date. Is this true?
This is my first Nissan, having owned only Hondas for the last 13 years. With them, a TSB supercedes the warranty. If a TSB is issued for a certain defect, it doesn't matter how long you've owned your car, if the defect exists, the dealer is obligated to fix it.
Is this the case with Nissan, or are they trying to get out of replacing my top?
