You SHOULD be able to. The same goes for US models as well. In my experience with Nissan and Infiniti's, if the wiring is already there then it should be a "plug and play" operation.

Example: My wife's 2012 2.5S Altima DID NOT come with Fog Lights. The kit for the fog lights was just a multifunction switch and the lights themselves. All of the harnesses were already there. They were just tapped up to the chassis. I just plugged everything in and it worked. I have seen this multiple times.

The reason the USDM cars haven't done this and the presence of the multiple aftermarket alternatives is the cost. The cost of the multifunction switch itself is a deterent. To purchase the LHD Canadian Multifunction switch here in the US is difficult due to most dealerships I have worked with not wanting to deal with shipping parts cross border. If you order it through a US Nissan Dealership, these parts must be brought in through the Nissan Motorsports division (ALL JDM parts are done this way), which in itself is pretty much useless.
