I'm going to start buying bigger tires, though. I'm running 255s on the front, and they don't cover the lip of the rim when I set them down. I let both of my rear tires fall over without any worries - they are running 305s and I already knew the tire protects both the front and rear of the wheel.

I was running 255 and 285, but I'm probably just going to bite the bullet and run 275 and 305 going forward. I never went that wide before because of cost. The only reason I have 305s in the rear right now is because I picked them up cheap from a forum member. But if the larger tires protect my wheels this well, then I'm all for em
