turbine is too small. I would look at the Precisions T4 frame turbos to start with, vs the T3 that the GTX35 comes with. The 62mm T4 with a .81/.96 a/r housing is what you should use provided it is a tangential setup (non twin scroll).
There was a stroked 3.8L VQ35DE a while ago that used this exact turbo on a Momentum kit. Car made 524ft/tq, and only about 490whp.
TQ higher than HP = turbine too small/doesn't flow enough (in this case). IF the GT35 turbo was available with a larger T4 frame turbine housing, then it would compare well to the Precision 6266 because the compressor wheels are very close.
If you are doing a custom build, make sure to post some pictures, just like any other guy, I like to see new stuff.
