In the end you are better off to get it done right and pay a little more for quality work. If you want cheap I know a guy who does body work and paint out of a shop out back of his house, however I wouldn't take my Z to him DD sure Z/hobby car no
Just for comparison have you inquired to see how much it is to get your car repainted(from a good shop)? I bet it is a lot more then you would expect but hey you can always go to Maaco

there are companies that charge an arm and a leg for electrical work. you can't compare good work with cheap work
. But, you should always shop around so you don't get ripped off.
There was a company that wanted $9k for a few things done around my house. that included panel change/upgrade, 6 pot light upgrade, two lights for backyard and a sensor for staircase. I ended up getting a licensed individual(not a company) who did the work for Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay less.

true and I didn't say anything about full prep. It's a lot more involved than it looks.
