to many people are looking for the cheapest work possible, this is not always the best idea IMO. I see it in my trade all the time as well, I am an electrician people want the best price for the best work but those two things do not go hand in hand. In the end you are better off to get it done right and pay a little more for quality work. If you want cheap I know a guy who does body work and paint out of a shop out back of his house, however I wouldn't take my Z to him DD sure Z/hobby car no
Just for comparison have you inquired to see how much it is to get your car repainted(from a good shop)? I bet it is a lot more then you would expect
but hey you can always go to Maaco
