My 370z trans is coming up on 60,000, no grinding or notchiness or anything.. smooth as silk minus a scratchy 5th gear which it has had forever. I only full throttle shift into it occasionally as most challengers dont want to continue at those speeds. I know these transmissions are not the greatest, but they arent as bad as people say. My 370z trans loves rapid full throttle shifting. It is rather difficult to master the timing on the 1-2 shift, but otherwise 5th gear is the only one that complains to me. Even just driving low RPM around town i have to pause briefly between taking it out of 4th, before going into 5th, or it will scratch. I am still on factory fill trans fluid.
