I can see that reaction when I'm waving to a female Z owner, but not the reverse.
I'll sometimes wave to a Z, forgetting that I'm driving my wife's Acura and not the Z
I chatted up a roadster once at a stop light when I was driving the Acura. He gave me the oddest look until I pointed out the forum sticker on the side window
