I stand (at least somewhat) corrected.

Details:

Toyota FT-1 Concept Is 2016 Supra: Sports Car Rebirth Confirmed! [VIDEO, GALLERY]

http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2...gen-supra.html

http://jalopnik.com/the-toyota-ft-1-...-re-1502590788

About to read details with giddy excitement

Moreover:

"As far as the Toyota Supra is concerned, the Toyota FT-1 is available to drive in Gran Turismo 6. According to the specs, the Toyota FT-1 weighs in at a light 2,910 pounds and boasts 518 horsepower from an alleged inline-6 engine."

From Jalopnik "But since you can drive it right now in Gran Turismo 6, it has actual specs in the virtual world: a curb weight of 2,910 pounds (1,320 kilograms) and 485 horsepower, which apparently gets bumped to 518 horsepower after an oil change. These stats were uncovered by a few users over at the GT Planet forums."

Now those are game specs and not real-world specs (the imagined curb weight is highly improbable...), but sounds like a hell of a start to me...

... and possibly a finish; if they build anything even close to that, it's going to be a GT-R fighter and well out of my price range
