"J.D. Power has released the results of its latest Initial Quality Study (IQS), the company's industry benchmark study that measures new-vehicle quality after the first 90 days of ownership. A key finding of this year's study is that nearly two-thirds of the problems experienced in the first 90 days of ownership are related to the vehicle's design, as opposed to components that malfunction. For example, the component may be working as designed, but owners deem it a problem because it may be difficult to understand or operate"
See? The way they measure quality has nothing to do with the discussion at hand. If you were dead set on a JD Power study, you should have referenced this- Top Rated Cars, SUVs & Trucks - Car Reliability Ratings - 2013 Vehicle Dependability Study
Oh, except there is only one Euro car on the list.

When owners actually read the manual its amazing what can be learned about one's car LOL!
I could care less how many Euro's are on the list. If it was zero Id still have my GTi or any other EURO car Ive owned. Im happy the Z was on the link I sent out. I will sleep better now......really.
