I got you beat! (finally for once!) I put about half of that on my first year of ownership
PS - to the OP, you're a 'struggling college student' but yet you have a brand new 2014 Z?
Might I suggest you trading in the Z for a Sentra/Altima/Juke and then after college jump back into the Z after you're not struggling anymore?
