Can't tell if serious... I wasn't expecting this to be very difficult, but I'm a little gun shy after my recent failed attempt to change the brake pads on Ms. Pint's Z (something that should NOT have been as difficult as I apparently made it).

Are you just referring to the coolant lines that can be removed per this DIY?

I thought about doing that this past summer but never got around to it. I just recently drove the Z out in freezing weather for the first time, so I'm even less inclined to do it now, though I like the solenoid valve idea that someone mentioned in the DIY. If you are talking about something else entirely or just speaking to the difficulty, please, enlighten me
