I agree yes that they are not the greatest to get involved with in regards to installs, however some people just don't have the skills or time for solder and heatshrink. In that case i would reccommend they seek a shop to complete it for them, but if they are in a pinch, Crimp connectors are the next choice IMO. T-taps from Dorman are not good at all, however the screw in type are not horrible.
