I'm trying to say that Brembo is a specialized Brake company, so not every car is going to have them. Therefore they are not 'stock'. So to say your coupe vs a Stock Z and even then only in a highly turn based track the coupe might beat the Z is a highly specified situation and shouldn't be used to base the fact Coupe > Z.

as for lewis hamilton. he was using akebono according to what YamahaR6 said. he had to retire from the race for the left right rear brake problem.

to be fare though it was the first mechanical failure he ever had that led to a retirement of the race.
So a singular incident for the first time of that magnitude is enough to disavow Akebono as a good competition quality brake? Have you looked into the Braking Section to read about Akebono's and Track Quality?
