Guys, it not going to look like that exactly.
They don't need another unafordable halo car that can't beat the GT-R anyway.
The Supra in the late 90's cost betwen 32 and 45K; in todays dollars that's 40K and 65K respectively.
Those values mean, N/A = slightly pricey Z fighter, turboed = pricey Nismo fighter, both with no real competitors (the tuboded straight 6 not quite keeping up with the slightly more expensive blown US Pony cars that will have poorer fit and finish.)
I could be wrong, but a little too much money for a little too little car is what they did with the FR-S (that might change once the idx comes out...), and is probably the model they'll follow here.
So something in the 40 to 60 range is totally do-able for something that looks good and performs well without totally pricing itself into extinction when faced against the higher end Mustangs and Camaros or being a joke vs. the (now 6-figure) GT-R.
Building a cheaper LF-A to result in a GT-R priced car will sell no cars. The latest GT-R is FASTER than their halo LF-A at a fraction of the cost.
