Henry,

I just recently bought a new set of emblems both 370z and nismo from a forum member. I installed them last night, I didn't setup a template but figured out a pretty good method for applying the badges so they are straight.

Get two 12 inch rulers, some cardboard and a glue stick.

  1. Cut out the cardboard into two strips, one for the nismo badge and one for the 370z badge. Make the height of the strips conform to the height of each set of badges
  2. Take your first letter, apply some glue stick to the front surface.
  3. Reverse the letter and place it on the card board so it is flush against the bottom edge of the ruler you placed earlier.
  4. Take your second ruler and place it underneath the first letter you put on the card board so it's flush against the bottom of your letter
  5. Now apply glue to the next letter
  6. Reverse and place on the card board, space it out so you have approximately 8/32 to 9/32 of spacing between each letter.
  7. Rinse and repeat till you get all your letters down
  8. Move the second ruler up a bit so it completely straightens out all the letters
  9. Remove the rulers
  10. Take one ruler and your cardboard with your glued letters to your bumper
  11. Space it from the edge of the tail light to your liking and lighly press down against the bumper. If you like the positioning, press down harder then peel off the card board.
  12. If not you'll likely have to realign the letters using the ruler again.

This took me about an hour last night, so the process is still fresh in my head
Once the badge is on there use some GooGone or Goop to remove the glue stick residue on the badge.

Hope this helps mano
