I kept asking myself where is this great German Engineering. 3 window regulators, a $500 thermostat, final stage resistor, broken springs, brakes every few thousand miles, along with many smaller items. The broken springs were the most surprising. Driving the same roads in all my previous cars and never a broken spring....both rears on the Bimmer. I loved the car, but was in the shop way too many times. Back to Japanese for me.
