Yeah. What's confusing? If your doing 285 tires there's NO need to use a 10" or 10.5" wheel. There's NO need to go above a 9.5" when a 9.5" wheel will be perfect. Not only is there no need, you shouldn't.

Correct. A 10.5" wheel is to much for a 285 tire in my book. Again correct. You shouldn't go above a 9.5" wheel if you're using a 285.
