If I'm understanding this correctly, it looks like the exhaust can be variably choked or opened with a switch...

In theory it means you could tune it (assuming the settings can be automatic, controlled by a window switch) for optimal flow based on load -- narrower for low load, theoretically resulting in greater low speed torque, and wide open at high load, WOT, for greater top end.

How much of a difference this would make as compared to any other Y-pipe set up (or as compared to an H-pipe) is unclear -- but it's a nice idea.

That said, whenever VVEL tuning becomes common, you will be able to make similar adjustments (on the intake side) electronically rather than mechanically.

Also, anything that says "contact us for quote" sounds terrifyingly expensive... they make stuff for high end exotics, I see...
