I went to Lowes got some plastic primer, cleaned the area sprayed the primer with 2 coats let it dry for a day then went back and sprayed with the color. I didnt do any scuffing. I probly wouldent scuff it BC that is a thin layer of crome on the plastic and the pice is very delicate. You will probly not be able to remove all of the crome and by just scuffing it up, you are setting your self up for flaking.
