It depends on where the damage is and how severe. I've never seen a pic of the damage, so I can't begin to tell you. If it's shallow enough, they may be able to pull the dents out. If it's a crease, it depends on if they can get behind it. If they can pull the dents out close to smooth they may be able to get away with a touch of body filler. If the panel is mangled, they're going to have to cut out the damage or you'll end up with thick spots of bondo all over it and that has a bad habit of cracking and falling out. Then they've got to match the paint to the surrounding area.

Have you posted a question in your local forum here to find a good body shop? Someplace that has received multiple recommendations.
