Great review/counterpoint to consider in his review. I agree on his gauge statements, the contents of them are questionable however since I don't race the car I don't think about the coolant temp dots vs. the oil temp gauge. I like the dots, easy to read for me. I'm not sure what the difference is in ride b/w the Sport package and the NISMO but I love the rougher ride, you know what's going on b/w the wheels and the road.
I don't really care about "latest engine technology" for a couple reasons. 1. It generally costs more money and 2. It's generally done to meet some kind of fuel mileage average which is gov't mandated and what the heck do they know about cars? Not to say that efficiency isn't a good thing but to make a change in the name of it doesn't go with my idea of buying a sports car anyway.
Nissan is sorely antiquated on their radio technology and the reason why I wanted a base car to easily switch out the radio. Who needs navigation in a performance oriented sports car? Even if I need it, it's on my phone/ipad/portable GPS.
I agree on the body kit stuff, I'm not a fan but I'm not much a fan for body kits in general. The wheels are gorgeous however and I think it's awesome that Nissan offers the options it does.
I love his comments about rearward visibility - "Just keep looking forward" LOL. Isn't that where the road is taking you anyway?
Thanks for posting the vid - was good to watch.
