Trap speed? like 1/4 mile times?
Not time. 1/4 time has nothing to do with it. Thats based off of a good start, great shifts, proper setup etc. Your trap is all about power.

Its at the 1/4 mile when you cross the finish line. See HP is fake. It's not real. It's just a calculation of TQ which is real and measurable but all dyno's can be messed with and read wrong. No matter how bad your 60 foot is at the drag strip, you'll still trap a certain speed at the end of the run within a mile per hour or two. Since we know the distance, we know your trap speed, and we need to know your cars weight; based off of that we will know your true HP since there's no way you could reach that mph within a 1/4 mile weighing 3xxx unless you have xxxHP. A dyno doesn't take into effect drag coefficient etc so running at the track gives you the best/true result of your power.
