It's not going to be two years when they go up. Insurance is partially based on how many cars are wrecked.
No one can talk insurance numbers with you. The worst thing you've got going for you from an insurance standpoint is your age. We don't know your area. We also don't know your record. If insurance cost is such a major issue, getting a cheaper car and paying it off so you can drop down to liability only will help you there.
