That said, I can't complain. I never feel like I'm trapped in any kind of "back to the grind."
Also, with building the salon in between all the fly-aways I had this year, I became totally oblivious to the upcoming Holidays.
I went to Costco and was like "why are all these people acting all crazy like there's gonna be a snowstorm? It's supposed to be 60 degrees this weekend!" Then when I got inside and saw all the Christmas stuff, I was like "Oh right. We're doing that this year."

plus being forced to celebrate xmas when we aren't christians is kinda
so much time, effort, some money spent on teacher gifts and card and stuff. kids singing chrismas carols when they are technically buddists. lol
we do it out of respect for the american community we live in, but it's a lot of work (kissing arse).
