Default Help...Dealer says that I need a new clutch!

Here is what is happening. I have a '09 MT with 46K miles. After a long trip in OCT my clutch pedal was on the floor. I had to pump it several times to get enough pressure to disengage the engine. After reading the forum I assumed that I had a CSC problem. I drained the factory fluid and replaced with the higher spec synthetic fluid. No problem for about two months then it showed back up again. I am OK to drive around town, but cannot take long trips on the highway, and the pedal is still soft.

I took it over to the dealer to see if I could get a warranty repair of the CSC. They recommend a Flywheel, Clutch disc, Clutch plate, Release bearing, Pilot bearing; all for a grand total of $3050 installed. I said no way. I don't see how any of this will help the pedal issue. The tech mentioned some hot spots on the fly wheel and some rattling noises, but this solution does not make sense to me. I have not experienced the shudder/judder issues and the clutch is not slipping.

I have never tracked the car and in general I pretty much baby it. I never drop the clutch at high RPM's. I have been driving MT all of my life and never had clutch fail before 100K miles. Any help would be appreciated.
