After purchasing my first car I saved up all my money that I earned (50hours a week at work and being a full time student was ridiculous to say the least) and in 8months I completely paid off the Camry. After paying off my Camry I used it as a down payment for my 370, currently my payments are $200 a month and my insurance is $200 fully covered.
I'm privileged enough where the only bills I have in my life are for my car. I have a full scholarship at school and I'm still at my parents house, though I'm now saving up some money to rent out a place with a couple friends later next year.

You are not giving your parents credit where credit is due. The only reason you were able to save that money is because you are living rent free in your parents place. An expensive vehicle should make its way into your life when you have reasonably established yourself and are able to live independently of others.
