anyway, i pulled out my dslr last night instead, and was messing with it so that was kinda fun. im trying to get better indoor night time shots and playing with arpeture and iso. i just need to put the camera on a tripod which should be coming to me maybe next week.

i still want to get a 20mm prime. the 35mm is great, but i need wider.
you might want to go for the 14mm unless you will get bothered by the slight distortion.

20mm on a DSLR equals to 30mm which is not very wide..

I have the 17-35mm, on the SLR is nice and wide but when I plug it onto the digital body I found even the 17mm is not quite enough.

eventually I add a 11-16mm into the bag.

but maybe you will use the wide angle to shoot different stuffs than I do so it's really a personal preference..

these smaller cameras should not come with a full neck strap... they're too light and you dont grab the housing like you'd do a dslr. the strap gets caught on something just enough for the camera to slip out of your hand and fall.
hope you'll get some good result after talking to the store..
