He was just another guy making stupid move on street. FYI I never speed excessively with passengers. ...Never. I have seen north of 150 mph on deserted road by myself with miles of visibility with no traffic but let's say I had blow out and rolled. I'd just be another asswad driving way to fast on the street.
I hear about all the emotional denials of drag racing but you don't have to drag race to be dangerous on surface streets. I suspect they will find that car was moving way too fast and just got away from driver. The debris spray seen in pics indicates very fast speeds. I feel sorry for Paul as I believe he wouldn't have put someone in danger like mr rodas did. And fact he had teenage daughter is tough too. Feel very bad for her.
Also consider if mr rodas had survived and Paul died I suspect manslaughter charges or wrongful death suit would have happened.

I'm not here to argue the fact that what rodas did was wrong. I never said he was right. Reports say he was doing 45 on a 15mph curve. Was it higher? Lower? We will NEVER know even though I think it was a lot higher then that. Some say it was a malfunction. What I meant by accidents happen is that Mr. Rodas did not jump on the car on a mission to kill someone. It was an ACCIDENT. That does NOT change who he was as a man. He was actually paul walkers racing partner. Long time friend. What he did was wrong, and what everyone else does is wrong as well. We ALL know tons of street races take place with these high performance cars, Ugr lambos, ams gtr's, vipers, camaros, supras all over highways all over forums and states. And people ROOT for these competitions and we see it on THESE forums All the time. My point was not to let this accident CHANGE a good person to looking like a scumbag. If you haul *** like you stated even on your own, and had an ACCIDENT and god forbid passed away I would morn a loss not sit and say that your a criminal with no right to deserve sorrow. Accidents happen and unfortunately in this case two lifes were lost.
And I agree that your still responsible as a driver for the damages done to yourself and others and are held accountable for a persons injury.
