^for the price, the Kappas are some of the best speakers I have heard. Tuning is important as they can be quite bright, but in that brightness is where you get a lot of the details and subtleness of music; you get comments like "I am hearing things I never heard before..." from many first time users.
Caveat: I have never owned super high end speakers before, so my knowledge is limited.
