This is my first thought as well.
I need to see one in person and/or with more size context, but it's still just too tank-ish for my tastes. I do like the front end look (then again, I like the Aston martin front-end look), but the rest is utterly boring. I actually dislike the rear view. From some angles it reminds me of a Jaguar.
It's a very safe design that isn't all that exciting at all, especially with the fleet of Fords already sporting the DNA of this look.
It may grow on me, but otherwise I can just shrug, say it's a Mustang, and move on.
