I agree. It's a cool feature and works as designed but for daily driving I leave mine off. And when I go for a spirited mountain drive and switch it on, I end up fighting it because my muscle memory and habits are so ingrained after driving a stick shift starting off road in a Meyers Manx dune buggy in 1968 that I have to consciously not blip the throttle or double clutch.
