2010 Automatic transmission issue...
Hey gang,
So here's the deal...
Facts:
I'm in the Los Angeles area
2010 370Z Automatic
67k miles on it so far
never any major issues with it
Issue:
It seems like my car when cold (typically in the mornings) will have an issue that will only arise then and not again throughout the day. Intermittently, during the first few moments of driving to work, at a red light or stop sign, I'll give it gas and the car will feel like its reving but no movement (as if it were in neutral) and then suddenly kick into gear violently and move on like nothing happened. This has occurred a few times in the last two weeks and the guys at my local nissan dealership are not of any help and insist that I'll have to replicate the problem with their tech. The problem with that is that it isn't a CONSTANT issue. It's only been happening when the car is cold and usually in the AM and it doesn't always happen. My uncle, a retired mechanic, is guessing that it's just a fluid swap that needs to happen but I heard that these transmission units are sealed and that most places won't know what they're doing.
Has this been an issue for 2010s?
Any help would be appreciated...
