Yeah I've seen it done but I like the more rounded camo vs only straight lines I'd be able to do with paint. I mean to tape rounded/jagged edges like in the pics would mean I'd have to cut the tape anywho vs cutting out the spots. Just seems like more work. 3M 1080 for 15sqft is around $40. So times 3 colors $120 isn't to bad. Easier to put on vs tape and paint but vinyl I no can be a bitch to pull off with the glue.
