I admit not knowing much about today's cars & how they work. It's my age I don't even want to change my own oil. I do know a bit about drag racing & having mods work together, as apposed to just "the more the better".

Before the recent drag racing of my Z's, I drag raced a bit a long, long time ago with a 1966 Pontiac G.T.O. Long, long ago That's when I learned how to shift & about balance/working together when it comes to mods.

More recently with my 08 Z. I didn't just buy slicks for that car & do well, it took me 8 months to learn how to really use them

So, I'm a nice guy but tend to post "snappy" responses. Probably due to my age(little patience) & trying to have some fun. Nice, nice all the time is BORING

I'd look into pricing on an uprev tune, especially if you eventually do things like intake or exhaust.

Even without that, a tune should net a little more power and torque -- but more importantly you can:

1. Vastly improve throttle response (notoriously boggy on this car due to laggy fly-by-wire system)

2. Speed and firm up shifts -- no need for any change to the trans valve body; a tune can do it on this car.

3. Raise rev limit -- again, I'm not sure it will change the automatic shift points in D when you go WOT, but it will allow you to manually shift a bit higher with the paddles or stick when the trans is in M mode.

4. Turn the radiator fan on full blast sooner to keep the engine running a little cooler under load, which will also result in the ECU allowing more ignition advance and better responsiveness.

These four changes to the tune with Uprev will greatly improve overall driveability and responsiveness even without any bolt-ons.

Have fun!
