This is a little video of a lap out at Miller Motor Sports park today. Raining with periods of snow falling this morning, continuing all day with a few breaks in the weather. Temp started out at 36 and climbed to a balmy 47. Still on the stock Yokahama Advan Sports. Pretty much wore 3rd gear out, 2nd was quite twitchy on the slow corners, so I went with 3rd and it seemed smoother and grip-yer.
The event is run as a one lap time attack with two groups alternating every 30 min. We had 2 morning practice sessions then after lunch 2 afternoon sessions to determine the winners for each group. The corners and some of the straights are coned to take the apex's away to slow things down.
It was allot of fun but, you really had to tip toe around to keep from sliding out. The run on the video was of the driest of the day and the spin at the end was from my first practice session.
