Sorry about the wait. It was dark when I got home and the pictures were not very good. Also, while my car was away I had purchased some carbon fiber cloth fabricated a splitter to replace my old plywood/fiberglass one (weighs about 5lbs compared to 13lbs) . I spent last night trying to see if the mounting system I came up with would work.
And she has been sitting outside all month and really needs a good cleaning (clay bar, polish, wax, etc...).
I promise to post a write up and some pictures in my original post today.
And the shop was EB3 Motorsports in Manassas (really closer to Gainesville) VA. The owner (cage builder) is a great guy who you can tell really loves to build cages.
However, remember he has been building cages for drag cars for decades. He readily admits that he does not do many SCCA or NASA cages (or bars). So make sure that you print out the roll cage requirements for whatever series you run (or aspire to run) when you drop off your car.
