If you are a first time tracker, you would probably be ok totally stock, as you won't be driving anywhere near the limits that would cause problems, but you still should swap fluid and upgrade pads.

As an experienced driver, in my first track day with the car, on hawk HP+ pads and Valvoline synthetic fluid, I wore the pads to the backing plate and boiled the fluid in my first 20 minute session.

When the brakes do go, they give very little warning. They felt a little soft in one corner, so I backed off and coasted the rest of the track, and it still took me over 50 feet to stop from 10mph when I got in the pits.
