i dont pay too much attention on my car since she's not lowered and haven't scraped anything yet, but the lower shroud is flexable and bounces back into shape after pushing it up.
i would put your car on ramps and just recheck the torque on the screws holding it in place. they do back out if they're not tightened snug. (i lost a few screws on my G35C after a dealer did a free oil change...
