The other problem I see, and this is just me, but I wouldn't want someone else driving my brand new sports car 3hrs to transport it. Who knows how they will drive it or how much "fun" they will have in it. If I was paying $500 for transport of the car I would want it trucked and insured against loading/unloading damage and rock chips. An enclosed trailer would be best.
Just my 2 cents but I'm rather particular about my cars.

I was thinking the same exact way regarding who will be driving the car.. I wanted them to put it on a truck but they said that it will cost an extra $700
. They also assured me that a +70 years old guy would be driving the car just so he doesn't go all crazy with it.
The thing that comforts me when I think of any possible issues with the car is the fact that the car has full warranty and is fully covered, so even if there is anything wrong it will be fixed! not that I want it to have any problems or anything..
