Used Nissan's VPP plan D for Military yesterday to purchase my Z. Found the Z I wanted at a dealer an hour and half away, sent them my VPP number, they sent me back the price. I drove down and picked it up 3 hours later.
FYI. I bought a 2014 370Z w/ sport package in gun metallic. Additional options included floor mats, trunk mat, backup camera in rear view mirror, illuminated door sills, and splash guards. Price was $32,900 + tax, tags/registration, dealer fees. I had a trade in (got more than $700 over blue book value on the trade in
) so tax was only applied on the difference of the trade in and the new Z (saved another $1k
). Also, I transferred the tags from the trade which saved another couple hundred bucks. Not a bad deal since Nissan isn't offering any rebates/cash back offers on the new Z's.
PS - I love the car.
