See this pic? See the lines bent down more so then the top with a gap? I don't care how strong SS is. Metal on metal contact is not for me when involving a brake line. OEM style aftermarket kits are better for me.

In the pic the wheels are fully extended down because the car is on a lift.

We've been using SS brake lines for years and years for their durability and performance enhancements over stock rubber lines.
The lines do not wear in the brackets that hold them. They slide easily in and out and will barley ever move regardless in that position as it all moves together, Strut, wheel, knuckle, all that moves at the same time. It's not like there is pressure on the line there and it's being yanked in and out of the bracket....

They are also coated in PVC for even more protection against wear.

It's pretty simple really, It's not going to wear.

I figure they probably would not be DOT legal if there were any safety issues with them.
