CZP Lightweight 2pc Rotors for Akebono Sport Brakes - 22lbs!!
We weren't satisfied with the rotors out there available for the 370Z Akebono (Sport) brakes, so we made our own! DBA's rotors came close and were a great starting point; our kit uses DBA slotted rotors with their "Kangaroo-Paw" ventilation, which has shown to run 20% cooler than traditional straight vanes. We then added our own aerospace-grade 6061 aluminum top-hats, which are much lighter than other hats, and help reduce heat.
The result is a super lightweight rotor, in at only 22lbs, which helps reduce unsprung weight and braking performance in one affordable package! For comparison, stock rotors are 30lbs each!
These rotors are for use with the 370Z Sport model with Akebono calipers.
